Join us for an evening of live music, great food, seasonal cocktails, and fantastic raffle prizes to aid Save the Novello Picture House.

The fundraising aim is to help raise money to stop the threat of demolition proposed by RBWM property services and to present a strong case for the theatre to be managed alongside Cordes Hall. The whole community can access various rooms and performance and rehearsal spaces if successful. Read more…

Good luck

This particular evening is also our Christmas Jumper Day, so please wear one to make it a fun evening. If you do, we’ll reward you with a complimentary glass of mulled wine. If you don’t have one from last year or the year before, there is still time to purchase one!

This warm, spiced wine is just one of the bar’s specials for the evening. We’ll also serve chocolate and caramel-based cocktails and Jeremy’s Hawkstone Lager. But don’t expect Jeremy Clarkson to pop in and serve behind the bar. I secretly asked him to help in the kitchen that day. I didn’t know if he’d agree.

The evening would only be complete if you had something to eat. Therefore, we are preparing some of our favourites, which will be served as sharing platters. The selection below will be available to purchase from 6 pm:

A seafood platter includes smoked salmon, chilli squid, tempura tiger prawns, chilli sauce, garlic mayo, and freshly baked ciabatta. £35

A vegetarian platter includes hummus, baked camembert, cheese croquettes, olives, crudities and warm flatbread. £28

A meat platter includes slow-cooked sticky pork ribs, chorizo and wine, chicken skewers, coleslaw, and chunky chips for £34

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, 5th December.
