We’ve chosen our wines and beers from around the world, with as much variety and choice as you could hope for.  But if you’re after something more specific, why not ask, we always aim to please.  We also have a full range of spirits and liquors available for your pleasure.

Reds

1. GOOD HOPE “MOUNTAINSIDE”

Grape varieties: SYRAH
From: Stellenbosch, South Africa
Alcohol: 13.5%
A fresh approach to Syrah from Stellenbosch, elegantly spiced with aromas of fynbos ( wild herbs) and an interesting combination of ripe red fruit and cured meat.

2. LES CLAIRIERES

Grape varieties: MERLOT
From: Languedoc, France
Alcohol: 13.0% This fruity filled merlot really packs a lot in. The promise of blackberries is followed by a sophisticated dryness nicely, rounded tannins for structure with a longer finish.

3. HACIENDA GRIMON RIOJA

Grape varieties: TEMPRANILLO – ORGANIC
From: Rioja, Spain
Alcohol: 13.5% Youthful sin crianza style ( made without oak ageing ) this is pure expression of the Tempranillo with aromas of red cherries and plums. It can be drunk lightly chilled.

4. CHATEAU DU CEDRE “CAMILLE”

Grape varieties: MALBEC
From: Cahors, France
Alcohol: 13%
Dark red colour. Very fruity nose, both powerful and elegant. Very round and soft on the palate with great fruit intensity reminiscent of blackberries and damson.

5. CARIGNAN, NACIENTE                                    Grape varieties: CARIGNAN                                From: Colchagua, Chile                                    Alcohol: 14% Distinct aromas of thyme, rosemary and marjoram are married with blackberry fruit. The palate offers very good structure and rounded tannins.
6. GERARD BERTRAND, NATURALS

Grape varieties: SYRAH
From: Languedoc, France
Alcohol: 12.5% A deep colour with shimmering hints of violet. Generous nose, packed with red fruit and spice. Supple, aromatic and impeccable elegant on the palate with refined tannins.

7. RIOJA URBINA RESERVA ESPECIAL

Grape varieties: TEMPRANILLO
From: Rioja, Spain
Alcohol: 13.5% vintage 1998
It has dark ruby red colour with amber glints. It has a very pronounced nose of seductive figs, apricots, nuts, savoury vanilla oak bouquet. Voluptuous, sweet middle palate with delicious, concentrated ripe berry, mature fruit broadening out. Wonderful length, classy and complex wine.

8. SAINT CLAIRE                                                                         Grape varieties: PINOT NOIR                              From: Marlborough, New Zealand                Alcohol: 13%                                                            Aromas of ripe red berries and spices. The palate is full and rich with silky finish.

9. CROZES HERMITAGE “LES PIERRELLES” ALBERT BELLE

Grape varieties: SYRAH
From: Rhone, France
Alcohol: 14%
This silky smooth, voluptuous example has juicy flavours of plum, blackberry and dark chocolate.

10. ST.EMILION GRAND CRU CHATEAUX BOUTISSE

Grape varieties: MERLOT
From: Bordeaux, France
Alcohol: 13.5%
A warm, intense bouquet of ripe, deep red fruits with a hint of sweet toasted spice. The palate is velvety and elegant, with attractive fruits and well integrated tannins. An excellent freshness and roundness engages through to the finish.

11.BONDOL ROUGE, LA TOUR DU BON

Grape varieties: MOURVEDRE
From: Provence, France
Alcohol: 14.5%
Scents of liquorice , cinnamon and herbs of the garrigue. The wine is structured and savoury with firm tannins and concentrated spicy aromas.

12.CHATEAU LALANDE-BORIE

Grape varieties: CABERNET/MERLOT
From: St.Julien, Bordeaux, France
Alcohol: 13%
Blood-red in the glass, the nose reveals tobacco, cassis and spicy aromatics. The palate is full and dense, finishing on characterful tannins.

 

 

Whites

13. WILD GARDEN

Grape varieties: CHENIN BLANC
From: WESTERN CAPE, South Africa
Alcohol: 11.5%
A deliciously crisp with gentle aromatics of green apple and zesty citrus notes. A refreshing palate with a fruity, moreish finish

14. ROSA BIANCO

Grape varieties: PINOT GRIGIO
From: Veneto, Italy
Alcohol: 12%                                                             Fresh and zippy with clean citrus fruit.

15. FAULTLINE

Grape varieties: SAUVIGNON BLANC
From: MARLBOROUGH, NEW ZEALAND
Alcohol: 12.5%
A well rounded and fresh wine with a delicate aroma of sweet honeysuckle, tropical fruits and a subtle hint of herbs

16. GOOD HOPE

Grape varieties: CHARDONNAY unoaked.       From: Western Cape, South Africa
Alcohol: 13.0%
The wine is distinguished by its pale yellow robe with straw yellow nuances. The nose is fresh with notes of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lime and liquorice and both round and fresh on the palate.

17. VINA ILLUSION, RIOJA BIANCO

Grape varieties: TEMPRANILLO BIANCO
From: Rioja, Spain
Alcohol: 12.5%    Organic wine
From a rare grape variety grown organically, the wine offers notes of white peach, melon flesh and wild herbs.

18. GAVI DOCG PALAS MICHELE CHIARLO
Grape varieties: CORTESE.                                   From: Piedmont, Italy.                                      Alcohol: 12.5%                                                         Lively and fresh and thanks to a balanced acidity and is surprisingly smooth. The flower notes and the roundness in taste make it an excellent aperitif wine – straw yellow with bright greenish reflections, floral and fruity, with notes of exotic fruits and white peach.                                      

19. CONTINENTAL PLATTER

Grape varieties: SEMILLON                                 From: Southwest Australia                              Alcohol: 11%                                                                    A very authentic unoaked Semillon style. The herbaceous nose is followed by citrus and peach, stone on the palate. A refreshing picpoul-esque wine.

20. CHABLIS GERARD TREMBLAY

Grape varieties: CHARDONNAY
From: Burgundy, France
Alcohol: 12.5%
A golden straw-yellow in colour. Concentrated aromas of mango and pineapple with a touch of oriental spice. On the palate, mineral  and rich with flavours of melon, honey and apple with a touch of pepper. The finish is lengthy with chalky notes.

21. SANCERRE LES JEUNES VIGNES

Grape varieties: SAUVIGNON BLANC
From: Loire Valley, France
Alcohol: 12.5%
Delicate nose with aromas of white fresh fruits and citrus, this Sancerre is highlighted by its typically and its great expression of the Sauvignon grape.

22. ALBERT MANN “TRADITION”

Grape varieties: PINOT GRIS – ORGANIC
From: Alsace, Haut-Rhin, France
Alcohol: 12.5%                                                            The wine balances power and richness, a typical Pinot Gris fleshy and textured with notes of acacia honey.

23. POUILLY FUME “HAUTE DENSITE”

Grape varieties: SAUVIGNON BLANC
From: Chateau De Tracy, Loire, France
Full, crisp attack with underlying power and richness. The mid palate has a good structure which enhances the freshness, the fullness and power, giving a slightly tannic sensation. The final flavour is rich and appetising with great length ending on slightly roasted notes.

24. GRECCO DI TUFO “TERRA D’UVA” BENITO FERRARA

Grape varieties: GRECO
From: Compagnia, Italy
Alcohol: 13%
Aromatic with delicate notes of yellowfins fruit and apple blossom. On the palate its s dry, saline and harmonious with an unmistakable hint of bitter almonds.

Pink & Champagnes

25. ROSA BIANCA BLUSH

Grape varieties: PINOT GRIGIO
From: Veneto, Italy
Alcohol: 12 %
Rose wine with an elegant bouquet and a delicate scent of acacia flowers. The palate is dry, soft and nicely balanced.

26. RESERVE DE GASSAC PAYS D’HEROLD

Grape varieties: Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault From: Languedoc, France                       Alcohol:12%.                                                               Full and round with aromas of summer berries and crunchy, red apple.

27. PIGNOLETTO FRIZZANTE                             From: Emilia Romagna, Italy                          Alcohol: 11.5% An attractive and delicate floral bouquet on the nose with notes of acacia and yellow fruits, leading to a crisp, refreshing flavour with a soft, full and harmonious palate.
